Intelligent Workspace for Employee Experience

Abstract:

This research focuses on workspace design from a HR perspective. It tries to analyse how workspace preference differs from employee to employee based on their generation, gender and personality followed by how a workspace design impacts employees’ productivity. It showed that there was a positive relationship between workspace design and employee productivity and factors like generation, gender, and personality influence their preferences for workspace. Furthermore, new trends and technologies has been explored from which we can deduce that these trends and smart technologies would probably change the nature of future workplace as well as working experience of an employee.
