Omnichannel Approach: A Way of Distribution

Abstract:

The world of distribution has changed dramatically in the past decade. The advent of the online channel and new additional digital channels such as mobile channels and social media have changed distribution models. Omni-channel is one among the foremost important revolutions of recent years, impacting a spread of areas, like distribution, retailing, communication or information systems. This research focusing on the omnichannel distribution channel. Exploratory study was conducted for the research. This Paper explores previous research paper related to the distribution channels and specifically related to omnichannel distribution. In the analysis part, it is analysed that whether omnichannel distribution system is cost effective or not and it also analyses the satisfaction of the customer towards omnichannel distribution and as result It was found that omnichannel distribution is cost effective and Omnichannel distribution increases the customer convenience and gives satisfaction to ultimate consumer.
