Challenges faced by National Level Organised Coaching Institutes to Enter into the Ahmedabad Market

Abstract:

A well established Educational Coaching Institute from Delhi may not be able to attract students in Mumbai with the same offerings. Different towns have different behavioral patterns. So what it takes for a reputed coaching institute from one part of Country to replicate its success in other parts of the country?

This paper presents an overview of Education System and parallel Education System in the form of Coaching Classes. Classification of Educational Coaching services is provided from Ahmedabad point of view for the clear understanding of the readers.

It focuses on the various barriers that an organized Coaching institute has to face before entering the Ahmedabad Market. It gives an insight to the mentality of the students in Ahmedabad.

The research aims at understanding the decision making process, current behavior and acceptance of the above mentioned services. For the same purpose the various information areas have been covered from each market segments that influence a student’s choice for a particular coaching institute; which are Students, Parents and Various Influencers like their School, College, Teachers, Professors, Seniors etc keeping in mind their perception, awareness, need gaps, medium of awareness etc.

Present paper aims to give a realistic view to the National Level organised Coaching Institutes with respect to the Ahmedabad Market.
