Abstract:

Vigilantism as a concept can be tracked backwards to ages. Whether it is Robin Hood or Batman, vigilantes have been made famous and mainstream from books and pop culture since a long time ago. As an MBA student, relating that to the workplace, the concept seems valid and yet make-believe at the same time. The pre-existing research does show the possibility of the same but in vague and introductory terms. Piecing it up all together, it shows a face of vigilantism which is not only limited to be ridiculed as office tattletales, but has a far more lethal as well as legal consequences making it something to be talked about, corrected and stopped.

Keywords:

vigilantism, bullying, aggression, bullying, harassment, retaliation, framework, justice, action.
