Sustainable Development and Business Models of Entrepreneurs in the Organic Food Industry

Abstract:

This paper adds to existing writing on organic food sector, comparison of organic versus inorganic, organic farming, Business models of entrepreneurs; Sustainable development and entrepreneurship, by applying segments of business models to the acts of business visionaries that have an objective of ecological sustainability and an attention on the mass market (for example ecopreneurs). It characterizes the ecopreneurial plan of action and determines four assortments of this model, which comprise of various blends of environmental scope and an attention on the mass market and productivity. The distinctive issue of the ecopreneurial business model is that it changes disvalue into esteem, during this approach creating a lot of noteworthy client esteem for environmentally involved shoppers. The outcomes depend upon a big arrangement of study among ecopreneurs within the organic food trade.
