Digital India: A Boon or An Evil

Digital India is a campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2 nd July, 2015. The ensure that Government services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity or by making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. The initiative includes plans to connect rural areas with high speed internet networks. It is an umbrella programme covering many departments. Digital service pertains to the Digital age and helps serve community and the makes the world a better place to live in. Every innovation has both advantages and disadvantages. Every Technological breakthrough has its share of peas if used as directed and cons is used in a misdirected manner. When we look at the future of digital society in India, we have a long way to go. To create a long- lasting impact of digital transformation, it has to be transformation; it has to be revolutionary and fundamental.
