Abstract

In the recent era of advancement and introduction of new technologies, organizations have to survive an increasingly competitive market. This creates much stress among the employees of the organization. Stressors are the conditions in your surroundings which triggers stress. There are many such role stressors which hamper the productivity or output and resultantly one would be unable to manage for their work-life balance. In the given article, secondary data have been used to study the impact of role stress perceived by individuals & identify the stressors. The main objective of this paper is to get more insight of stress and understand the effects of role stressors on productivity and work life balance. Many professionals from within & outside India have investigated on the extent of stress faced by individuals in an organizational setup. Most of them found that there is an inverse relation between stress and productivity as well as work life balance.
